In September 2019 Flex Animation was excited to assist NineteenTwenty with a unique rigging task. The latest Nectar App commercial required an amorphous blob rig, which could be manipulated to make a range of pleasant shapes whilst maintaining volume preservation. Along with blendable appendages, custom correctives were sculpted and integrated seamlessly with the rig controls during the production to meet the animators’ needs.
